The spark for my children's ethnic clothing business ignited from a simple, yet frustrating, experience: dressing my own children for festive occasions. Time and again, I encountered the same hurdles: 

1)a glaring lack of high-quality silk options

2) a frustrating absence of authentic South Indian styles, and,

3) most disappointingly, garments with itchy, uncomfortable finishes that left my little ones squirming

Perhaps the most significant driving force was the persistent issue of uncomfortable finishes. Rough seams, scratchy linings, and stiff fabrics made dressing children in ethnic wear a battle. At UHA, we realized that many manufacturers prioritized aesthetics over comfort, neglecting the sensitive skin of children. We  knew there had to be a way to create beautiful garments that were also gentle and enjoyable to wear.

Our designs are not just for the run way but for everyday adventures, for playful moves, a quick dance and leap and to top it all - for a happy fuss free child :)
